Terms of service

Last updated: June 2026
⚠️ Important disclaimer: All reports and recommendations produced by HardwareReports are advisory in nature. Clients are solely responsible for validating all recommendations in their own environment before implementation. HardwareReports accepts no liability for data loss, system downtime, hardware damage, or any other loss arising from following report guidance.

1. Services

HardwareReports provides AI-assisted hardware engineering reports including diagnostic analysis, standard operating procedure documentation, and cost optimisation analysis. All services are delivered asynchronously via email in PDF format unless otherwise agreed.

2. Payment

All services require full payment in advance. Payment is processed via Stripe. By completing payment you agree to these terms. Prices are stated in GBP and include no VAT unless otherwise stated.

3. Turnaround times

Turnaround times begin when a complete, usable submission is received. Incomplete submissions will be flagged before work begins.

4. Refund policy

No refunds are issued once work has commenced. If your report does not contain a clear root-cause hypothesis and at least one actionable fix step, we will revise it at no additional charge — this is our clarity guarantee. Refund requests for change-of-mind or where services have been fully delivered will not be accepted.

5. Limitations of liability

HardwareReports reports are advisory only. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any report. Our total liability to any client shall not exceed the amount paid for the relevant service.

We are not liable for: indirect or consequential losses, loss of data, loss of revenue, system downtime, or hardware damage arising from following report guidance.

6. Intellectual property

Upon full payment, clients receive a non-exclusive licence to use the report content for their own internal purposes. Reports may not be resold or distributed without prior written consent.

7. Confidentiality

Client submission data is used solely for producing the requested report. We do not share client data with third parties except as required to deliver the service (e.g. AI processing). Submissions are stored securely and deleted within 90 days of delivery unless a retainer agreement is in place.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
